Starting at 9 p.m. on Friday, September 19, and continuing until 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 21, southbound 8 Street S.W. between 6 Avenue S.W. and 7 Avenue S.W. will be closed to accommodate construction. Routes 2 & 6 will be detoured.

Southbound buses will travel:


  • West on 6 Avenue S.W.
  • North on 10 Street S.W.
  • East on 5 Avenue S.W.
  • South on 6 Street S.W., to regular route

The following stops will be temporarily closed:

Starting Monday, July 14 at 9 a.m. through Wednesday, December 31 to the end of service, the right-hand lane on 6 Avenue S.W. between 1 Street S.W. and Centre Street S. will be closed for Suncor Energy Centre construction. Routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 17, 70 and 101 will have stop closures.


The following stops will be temporarily closed:
