New Year's Eve Celebration 2025 Starts Wed Dec 31 Until Thu Jan 1 (Updated )
Manchester will be ringing in the new year with a spectacular fireworks display in St Peter's Square. To allow the event to take place safely, a number of road closures will be in place with some bus services operating on diversion from 8.30pm to 3am.
Oldham Mumps Park and Ride Starts Thu Jan 1 (Updated Wed Dec 17 )
From January, there will be no access to the single-story park and ride at Oldham Mumps. Works will also take place to the to the multi-storey car park.
Whitefield Park and Ride Starts Thu Jan 1 Until Tue Mar 31 (Updated Mon Dec 22 )
Between January and March, there will be fewer parking spaces available at Whitefield Park and Ride facility while Engineering works are carried out.
Manchester Road, Bolton - Bus Stop Closure Starts Mon Jan 12 Until Thu Jan 15 (Updated Mon Dec 22 )
The bus stop on Manchester Road, at the junction of Bolton Road is closed due to works taking place.
