Starting Saturday, August 22 at 11 p.m., until further notice, 34 Avenue between 77 Street - Bowmanten Place N.W. will be closed for construction. Routes 26, 40 & 728 will be detoured.

Northbound buses will travel:


  • West on 34 Avenue N.W.
  • North on 73 Street N.W.
  • West on 37 Avenue N.W.
  • North on 77 Street N.W., to regular route

Southbound buses will travel:


  • South on 77 Street N.W.
  • East on 36 Avenue N.W.
  • South on 73 Street N.W.
  • East on 34 Avenue N.W., to regular route


The following stops will be temporarily closed:


  • WB 34 AV NW @ Bowmanten PL (#7485)
  • NB 77 ST NW @ 36 AV NW (#6611)
  • SB 77 ST NW @ 36 AV NW (#7481)
  • EB 34 AV NW @ Bowmanten PL (#7482)

Please use the following detour stops in lieu of the closed stop:


  • NB 73 ST NW @ 35 AV NW (near side)
  • WB 37 AV NW @ 76 ST NW (far side)
  • EB 36 AV NW @ 35 AV NW (near side)
  • SB 73 ST NW @ 35 AV NW (far side)

Starting Friday, September 4 from 9 a.m. through Thursday, September 17 at 3 p.m., there will be an eastbound right lane closure on the Bow Trail S.W. between Rossmere Road S.W. to Rosscarrock Gate S.W. for construction. Routes 26 and 111 will have a stop closure.
