While Knox County schools are in session, Route 40, South Knoxville, will be on a long-term detour, for the 2:15 trip, INBOUND ONLY, Monday through Friday.
Inbound from Moody Avenue, continue straight into Sevierville Pike, left on Compton Street, left on Haywood Avenue, left on Cottrell Street, left on Wynn, right on Moody Avenue to the regular route.
Due to paving and construction work, South Haven is closed between McClung Avenue and Minnis Avenue. Route 40, South Knoxville, is on a short-term detour. The Road Supervisors are monitoring and will update as needed.
Outbound from McClung Avenue, left on Hackman Street, right on West Gilbert Lane, left on South Haven to the regular route. Will reverse inbound.
