Gay Street at Cumberland Avenue to Church Avenue is closed due to the Women's Suffrage Coalition with the Mayor until approximately 11:30 AM. Routes 1, Downtown Connector; Route 10, Sequoyah Hills; Route 11, Kingston Pike; Route 12, Western Avenue; Route 15, Woodland Crosstown; and Route 17, Sutherland Avenue are on a short-term detour. The Road Supervisors will monitor and update as needed.
Outbound from Church Avenue,
Routes 10, 11, 12, 15, and 17 will continue left on Locust Avenue, right on Cumberland Avenue to the regular route.
Inbound will be the regular route.
*Route 1, Downtown Connector, outbound from Hill Avenue, right on State Street, right on Summit Hill to regular.
Inbound will be the regular route. After this temporary detour, Route 1 will resume its previous detour through the weekend.
Gay Street at Clinch Avenue is closed due to the Knoxville Film Festival. The closure will remain in effect throughout the day, evening, and weekend. The Road Supervisors are monitoring and will update with any changes.
Outbound from Gay Street, left on Cumberland Avenue, right on Walnut Avenue, right on Summit Hill to the regular route.
