Due to temporary road closures associated with the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final Draw event, the commuter bus stop at 23rd St & I St NW (Foggy Bottom) will be inaccessible on Friday, December 5, 2026, between 4:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Passengers who normally use this stop prior to 3:00 p.m. are urged to use the following alternate stops:
Routes 240, 260, and 640: Alight at K St NW & 20th St NW
(Only AM trips are affected)
Routes 220, 620, and 650: Alight and Board at K St NW & 20th St NW
(AM and PM trips prior to 3:00 p.m. are affected)
Route 725: Alight and Board at K St NW & 21st St NW
(AM and PM trips prior to 3:00 p.m. are affected)
The stop at 23rd St NW & I St NW is expected to reopen at 3:00 p.m., at which time normal service will resume.
