Comic-Con 2026 returns to San Diego Thursday, July 23rd through Sunday, July 26th. The event will have packed crowds and may create heavy traffic resulting in MTS service delays. If the delays become excessive, the route 4 is subject to detouring off Imperial Ave and the following stops will be missed:

If a detour is needed, the westbound route 4 stop (#11258) on Imperial & 16th will be closed.

Inaddition If a detour is needed, the eastbound route 4 stop (#10115) on Imperial & 16th will be closed.

All buses will continue to service the 12th and Imperial Transit Station

Route 4 Southbound Temporary Bus Stop Closure, Jamacha Rd & Cardiff St (#11466) Starts Mon Jul 27 9:00AM Until Tue Jul 28 3:00PM
Due to solar shelter installation, the southbound route 4 bus stop located at Jamacha Rd & Cardiff St (#11466), will be temporarily closed 07/27/26 & 07/28/26 between the hours of 09:00am - 3:00pm.

Passengers are advised to catch the southbound route 4 at the a - frame located 100' west of bus stop.

Due to SDGE work, the westbound Rt.4 bus stop at Jamacha Rd & Lincoln Pl. will be closed on 7/28/26 between 8:00am - 4:00pm.

Passengers are advised to make connections at Jamacha Rd & Britain #99378.

The game will have a packed crowd and is expected to create heavy traffic resulting in MTS service delays. If the delays become excessive, the westbound Route 4 is subject to detouring off Imperial Ave at 20th up to 2 hours before the event and up to 1 hour after the event.

If detour is needed, Westbound Route 4 service stop (#11258) on Imperial @ 16th will be closed.

If detour is needed after the event, Eastbound Route 4 service stop (#10115) will be closed.

All buses will continue to service the 12th and Imperial Transit Station
