Hermitage Rd, West Ryde temporary bus diversions Started Fri Aug 28 Until Thu Sep 3
From Friday 28 August to Thursday 3 September, route 501, 593w, 600w, 620w, 630w, 633w, 
780w and 785w services will divert and miss stops due to roadworks on Hermitage Rd at Parkes St Crossing.

Due to the Powerhouse Museum upgrade, this stop will be closed until the upgrade is complete.

Route 501 bus services will not stop at this location during the closure period. Please check signage and use alternative nearby stops.
Bus changes across Greater Sydney from 21 June Started Wed Jun 10
From Sunday 21 June,
Route 501 will be adjusted to operate between West Ryde Station and Central, no longer operating to Parramatta.
Route 501 will replace Route 500X between Top Ryde and West Ryde.

Pyrmont bus diversions for Sydney Marathon Starts Until Sun Aug 30
On Sunday 30 August, buses will be diverting while major roads in Pyrmont are closed for the annual Sydney Marathon.
From 4AM to 10:30AM, route 501 buses will divert around Miller St and a section of Harris St in Pyrmont via Pyrmont Bridge Rd, Wentworth Park Rd and William Henry St in both directions.  
Buses will continue to run to and from Central, dropping off at Pitt St at Barlow St Haymarket, and picking up from Pitt St opp Barlow St Haymarket. 
Some stops on Harris St and Miller St will be missed. Use alternative stops nearby or continue on foot.

Sydney CBD diversions due to Police Operation Starts Sun Aug 30 Until Sun Aug 30
Sunday 30 August
From 12:30PM to 3PM, route 501 services will start and end trips at Ultimo due to road closures in place for a planned Police Operation protest march. 
Buses to the city will end trips at Harris St at Mary Ann St. Buses leaving the city will start trips from Thomas St after Wattle St then continue as normal. 
Stops around Central will be missed. Continue on foot and allow extra time. 
Buses will return to route when roads reopen at direction of NSW Police.
West Ryde temporary bus diversions Starts Wed Sep 2 Until Tue Sep 8
Wednesday 2 to Tuesday 8 September
