A & E LINES DELAY UPDATE, 9:15 p.m. Tues, Sept. 16: Due to a minor derailment at a switch at 7th/Metro Station in downtown LA this afternoon, we’re experiencing delays on the A & E Lines tonight.

We’ve removed the incident train from the station. Staff are inspecting the switch for damage.

Please check back tonight and tomorrow morning for updates — we’re working to restore service to all stations for the a.m. commute.

At this time:

A Line trains are turning back to APU/Citrus at Union Station or Historic Broadway and back to Long Beach at Pico Station.

E Line trains are turning back to East LA at Historic Broadway and back to Santa Monica at Pico.

Please use the B Line or D Line subway for alternative service in DTLA. The J Line bus also runs btwn 7th/Metro and Union Station and we have bus shuttles running btwn Grand/LATTC and Historic Broadway to help A Line riders.
