New Year's Eve Celebration 2025 Starts Wed Dec 31 Until Thu Jan 1 (Updated Tue Dec 23 )
Manchester will be ringing in the new year with a spectacular fireworks display in St Peter's Square. To allow the event to take place safely, a number of road closures will be in place with some bus services operating on diversion from 8.30pm to 3am.

Between January and March, there will be fewer parking spaces available at Whitefield Park and Ride facility while Engineering works are carried out.
Oldham Mumps Park and Ride Starts Thu Jan 1 (Updated Wed Dec 17 )
From January, there will be no access to the single-story park and ride at Oldham Mumps. Works will also take place to the to the multi-storey car park.
