BusTracker and Inclement Weather
BusTracker's 41411 text feature and predicted arrival times are based upon regular service schedules for each route. During severe weather, limited service or other severe service disruptions, real-time arrival predictions may not be accurate. Riders are reminded that during inclement weather, route-by-route estimated arrival information in BusTracker may not be accurate. If your route is on detour, the information presented in BusTracker will not reflect real-time estimated arrival information but rather the schedule information. While on detour, a bus will not show up in the BusTracker location map view. https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/connector/operatingstatus
Notice: Snow and Ice Removal
Connector crews and contractors are responsible for clearing snow at Park & Ride facilities and transit centers. Neither VDOT nor Fairfax County have responsibility for clearing sidewalks and pedestrian pathways adjacent to bus stops. This is typically the responsibility of the adjacent property owner, business or homeowner's association, although there is no specific legal obligation to clear snow and ice from the walkway. Please use the following link for more information about snow removal responsibilities in Fairfax County: https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/snow/remove During inclement weather, bus operators are instructed to board and alight passengers at the safest location near the bus stop when the designated stop is inaccessible. For additional assistance, customers may contact the Fairfax Connector Customer Service Center at 703-339-7200 (TTY 703-339-1608) or fairfaxconnector@fairfaxcounty.gov. We appreciate the community's patience as agencies across the region continue snow removal efforts.
