Due to construction at East County Square Walmart, stop 41158 will be temporarily closed 24 hours a day 7 days a week beginning June 1, 2026 through October 1, 2026. An A-Frame has been placed in front of the Dollar Tree at East County Square where passengers can board Route 838.

Comic-Con 2026 returns to San Diego Thursday, July 23rd through Sunday, July 26th. The event will have packed crowds and may create heavy traffic resulting in MTS service delays. If the delays become excessive, the route 12 is subject to detouring off Imperial Ave and the following stop will be missed:

If this happens, the bus stop at Imperial Av & 16th St #10115 will be missed passengers are advised to make connections with the eastbound route 12 at the 12th & Imperial station during these times.
