Repairs have begun and are expected to continue until late fall 2026, to the walkway from the bus loop to Green Lane East, by the railway crossing. Until further notice, the pedestrian bridge over Finch Avenue will be closed for repairs. Customers wishing to access to the path to the Old Cummer GO, will have to cross the street at Leslie Avenue and Finch Avenue and proceed to the north stairway on Finch Avenue. From September 19 to October 13, the passenger Pick-Up & Drop-Off area will undergo planned rehabilitation work. The work will be completed in two stages over approximately four weeks.Here’s what you need to know:· Stage 1 – North Two Lanes: September 19 – September 29, 2026: The two north passenger pick up and drop off lanes will be closed to vehicle traffic. The south lane will remain open and accessible to the public for passenger pick up and drop off.· Stage 2 – South Lane: September 30 – October 13, 2026: Once Stage 1 is complete, the configuration will be switched. The south lane will be closed to complete the remaining work, while the two north lanes will be reopened and made available to the public for passenger pick up and drop off.· Please follow all directional signage and use caution when moving around the construction area.· Please allow extra time for pick up and drop off at your station.
Starting late on Friday, Oct. 2 until the end of service on Sunday, Oct. 4, a power shut down is scheduled at Aurora GO. This is to continue the installation of a new back up generator and complete electrical upgrades for the station.
