Due to the Hillcrest Farmers Market University Avenue will be closed in both directions from Herbert St to Park Bl every Sunday from 5:00am-5:30pm starting on 1/26 to 12/28. As a result, the route 11 will be on detour and the eastbound route 11 stop on University Ave at Herbert St (#10494) and the westbound route 11 stops on University Ave at Normal St (#10865) and University Ave at Richmond St (#10862) will be closed. Passengers are advised to board the eastbound route 1on University Ave at Richmond St (#10114) or at Park Bl at University Ave (#12804) and the westbound route 11 on Park Bl at University Ave (#11675) or University Ave at Vermont St (#11254).

Passengers are advised to catch the southbound routes 41 & 105 at the a - frame, 100' south of bus stop.

Due to construction, the 928 Southbound will have a stop closure (Stop ID #99103) at Balboa Ave. and Ruffin Rd from 04/07/2026 to 05/15/2026 for 24 hours a day. Passengers are advised to make connections at Spectrum Center Blvd. and Ruffin Rd.
Due to construction at 30th & C St (#10166), the northbound route 2 bus stop will be closed 09/29/25 - 03/31/26 from 06:OOam-3:30pm (Mon - Fri) . Passengers may catch the northbound route 2 at 30th & A St (#13532).

Every Thursday, North Park Way between 30th and Granada will be blocked due to the weekly North Park Farmers Market. During this event, Route 6 will detour between 12N and 8:30pm. No bus stops will be affected.

Passengers are advised to make connection to eastbound route 27 after 9:00 pm by walking north from the trolley station to the stairwell down to Garnet Ave (approximately 500 feet).

Due to bikeway project, the eastbound route 4 bus stop located at Imperial Av & 45th St (#10232), will be temporarily closed 02/24/26 - 07/31/26 (24/7).
Passengers are advised to catch the eastbound route 4 on the east side of 45th at the A - Frame.

Due to construction, the routes 1,10 & 11 bus stop located at westbound University Av & Vermont St (#11254), will be closed 10/22/25 - 05/31/26 (24/7).
Passengers are advised to catch all routes at University Av & 9th Av.

Due to the installation of a new bus stop at W San Ysidro Blvd & Sunset Ln, Route 907 will resume its regular route, continuing southbound on W San Ysidro Blvd.
As a result, the bus stop at Sunset Ln & San Ysidro Blvd (Stop ID: 60589) will be relocated to the west side of Sunset Ln at W San Ysidro Blvd.
This service change will take effect on Friday, May 8, 2026.
Route: 907-Iris Transit Center - San Ysidro Counterclockwise
Due to construction and closure on 5th Ave @ Brookes, northbound Route 3 & 120 will be detouring around this activity 4/20/26 - 5/8/26 (Mon - Fri Only) from
6:30am - 4pm each day. While on detour, Route 3 will not be able to service the bus stops on 5th @ Brookes (ID# 12429) or 5th @ Pennsylvania (ID# 12432). Passengers will be able to connect with the Route 3 at the stops on 5th @ Upas (ID# 12773) or 5th @ University (ID# 12431) in lieu of those stops.
Route 120 will not be missing any stops while on this detour.

Due to construction, Bus Stop 40846 located at Calavo Dr. & Jamacha Blvd will be closed through Summer 2026. Passengers are advised to use the next available Stop located at Jamacha Blvd
Route: 855-Rancho San Diego - La Mesa
Due to Caltrans work the southbound HOV lane on & off ramps from Rancho Bernardo Transit Station to Kearny Mesa Transit Center will be closed on Thursday 5/7 from 8:45pm-3:00am. As a result, the southbound BRT route 235 will be on detour departing Rancho Bernardo Transit Station until it reaches Kearny Mesa Transit Center. Service may be delayed; no bus stops will be missed.

Due to repairs on Wednesday night 5/6/26 at 9:00pm till Thursday morning 05/07/26 at 5:00am, the northbound BRT Route 235 will not service the I-15 Centerline Stations at El Cajon Blvd (#88918) and the I-15 Centerline Station at University Ave (#88916). Passengers are advised to board at the northbound route 60 stops at I-15 Ramp at El Cajon Blvd (#60555) and I-15 Ramp at University Ave (#13489).
Route: 235-Downtown - Escondido Transit Center
Due to the Classic Car Show 5th Ave will be closed between Pennsylvania and Evans Pl. The northbound routes 3 & 120 will be on detour on Saturday 5/16 from 11:30am-4:00pm. The route 3 bus stops on 5th Ave at Brookes Ave (#12429) and 5th Ave at Pennsylvania Ave (#12432) will be closed during the event, route 120 will not miss any stops. Passengers are advised to board the routes 3 & 120 at 5th Ave at Upas St (#12773) or 5th Ave at University Ave (#12430).

Due to Party on Park Blvd on Saturday 5/9 from 10am-10pm Park Blvd will be closed between Madison Ave and Adams Ave. As a result, the route 11 will be on detour in the northbound and southbound directions. The southbound route 11 bus stop on Park Blvd at Madison Ave (#11673) and the northbound route 11 bus stop on Park Blvd at Madison Ave (#12802) will be closed. Passengers are advised to board the southbound route 11 at Park Blvd at Monroe Ave (#11672) and the northbound route 11 at Park Blvd at Monroe Ave (#12455).

The packed game is expected to create heavy traffic resulting in MTS service delays. If the delays become excessive, the eastbound route 12 is subject to detour up to 1 hour after the event. If this happens, the bus stop at Imperial Av & 16th St #10115 will be missed passengers are advised to make connections with the eastbound route 12 at the 12th & Imperial station during these times.

Due to the La Jolla Half Marathon and La Jolla Shores 5K on Saturday 5/16 from 6:00am to 11:00am the southbound route 30 will be on detour. The southbound route 30 will be on detour from La Jolla Village Dr at Torrey Pines Rd. As a result, all the southbound route 30 stops on N. Torrey Pines Rd and La Jolla Shores Drive will be closed. Passengers are advised to board the southbound route 30 on Gilman Dr at Eucalyptus Grove Ln or Torrey Pines Rd at Calle De La Plata.

The game will have a packed crowd and is expected to create heavy traffic resulting in MTS service delays. If the delays become excessive, the westbound Route 4 is subject to detouring off Imperial Ave at 20th up to 2 hours before the event and up to 1 hour after the event.
If detour is needed, Westbound Route 4 service stop (#11258) on Imperial @ 16th will be closed.
If detour is needed after the event, Eastbound Route 4 service stop (#10115) will be closed.
All buses will continue to service the 12th and Imperial Transit Station
