RTD will begin work March 23 to perform structural repairs at the Table Mesa Park-n-Ride. To ensure customer safety, the 18-month project will require temporary closure of the station plaza area and relocation of some bus gates.

Work to be completed includes improvements to the front stair tower on the north side of the parking structure, steel repairs to the awning that covers the plaza, and replacement of roofing, along with some structural concrete repairs in isolated locations within the parking garage. For the duration of the project, bus gates B and C in front of the parking garage will be temporarily closed.

Customers arriving via the Flatiron Flyer (FF) or Airport (AB) routes will deboard at the bus stop located along Table Mesa Drive across from the Park-n-Ride.

Eastbound customers departing on FF or AB routes will board at the south ramp boarding plaza on the south side of U.S. 36. Customers can take an elevator to Level 4 of the Park-n-Ride garage to access the pedestrian bridge over US 36 to the south ramp boarding plaza. Westbound customers will board at Gate E along Table Mesa Drive

RTD is coordinating with local partners Goldsmith Metropolitan District and the City of Greenwood Village to ensure customer access to light rail during a six-month project to redevelop the green space at Orchard Station Park beginning March 26. During the initial phase of work, which includes construction of a sound wall along I-25, crews will work to minimize disruptions and maintain access whenever possible. The park will be closed during the second phase, which includes improvements to landscaping and walkways and creation of a new pond and seating area.

While the project is underway, light rail customers can follow posted detours around the perimeter of the construction site to travel to and from the Orchard Station pedestrian bridge.
