From Saturday 16 to Friday 29 May, no trams will operate between Victoria and Rochdale Town Centre. During this time, the East Didsbury line will start from Exchange Square and the Trafford Centre line will operate operate to Crumpsall via Market Street. A bus replacement service will operate between Victoria and Rochdale Town Centre.
On Sunday 7 June, no trams will operate between Victoria and Rochdale Town Centre. During this time, the East Didsbury line will operate from Piccadilly, Trafford Centre line will operate from Etihad Campus and Manchester Airport will operate from Victoria via Exchange Square.
On Sunday 12 July, improvement works will take place on the Rochdale line. During this time, no trams will operate between Victoria and Rochdale Town Centre. A bus replacement service will operate between the affected stops.

Due to building works and scaffolding in place, the bus stop on Whitworth Street/opposite Palace Theatre is closed.
From Monday 25 to Friday 29 May, improvement works will take place at Piccadilly Gardens. During this time, no trams will operate between St Peter's Square/Market Street and Piccadilly. There will be service changes on the Ashton-under-Lyne, Eccles, East Didsbury, Trafford Centre and Altrincham lines. Customers may need to change trams, take a short walk or use the free bus to continue their journeys.

From Monday 13 July to Sunday 2 August, tram improvement works will take place at various locations on the network including between Deansgate-Castlefield and Trafford Bar, in the city centre and on the Eccles line. During this time, no trams will operate on the Eccles, Trafford Centre and Altrincham lines, with further service changes in place across the network. A replacement bus service will operate between the affected stops.
On Sunday 9 August, from the start of service until 2pm, tram improvement works will take place at Deansgate-Castlefield and Trafford Bar. During this time, no trams will operate on the Eccles, Trafford Centre and Altrincham lines, with further service changes in place across the network. A replacement bus service will operate between the affected stops.
Essential improvement works will be taking place at Prestwich Metrolink stop. Tram services will not be affected however, there may be an increased presence of staff at this stop during this time.
The bus stops on Wilbraham Road, at the junction of Withington Road are closed due to works taking place.
