The escalator to exit Bury Metrolink stop is currently out of service. On Saturday 5 September, from the start of service until 2pm, improvement works will take place on the Rochdale line. During this time, no trams will operate between Freehold and Rochdale Town Centre. A bus replacement service will operate between the affected stops.
On Sunday 6 September, from the start of service until 11am, tram improvement works will take place at Deansgate-Castlefield and Trafford Bar. During this time, no trams will operate on the Eccles, Trafford Centre and Altrincham lines, with further service changes in place across the network. A replacement bus service will operate between the affected stops.
On Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September, essential repair works will take place on the Bury line. During this time, no trams will operate between Crumpsall and Bury. A bus replacement service will operate between the affected stops.
On Sunday 20 September, from the start of service until 10am, no trams will operate through Victoria. During this time, the Rochdale and Bury lines will terminate at Victoria, the East Didsbury line will terminate at Exchange Square, the Manchester Airport will operate to Piccadilly and the Trafford Centre line will run to Deansgate-Castlefield. A bus replacement service will operate between Piccadilly and Victoria until 11am.
From Monday 21 to Saturday 26 September, improvement works will take place in the city centre near Market Street. During this time, no trams will operate via Market Street and Shudehill. Customers may need to change trams, take a short walk or hop on the free bus to continue their journey. Outside of free bus operating times, a replacement bus will operate between Piccadilly and Victoria.
From Sunday 27 September to Friday 2 October, improvement works will take place at Piccadilly Gardens. During this time, no trams will operate between St Peter's Square/Market Street and Piccadilly. Customers may need to take a short walk, hop on the free bus or change trams to continue their journey. Outside of free bus operating times, a replacement bus will operate between Piccadilly and Victoria.

A bus replacement service will operate between Piccadilly and Victoria until 11am.
From Monday 19 October to Sunday 1 November, tram improvement works will take place at Deansgate-Castlefield and Trafford Bar. During this time, no trams will operate on the Eccles, Trafford Centre and Altrincham lines, with further service changes in place across the network. A replacement bus service will operate between the affected stops.
Essential improvement works will be taking place at Prestwich Metrolink stop. Tram services will not be affected however, there may be an increased presence of staff at this stop during this time.
