During this time, no trams will operate on the Eccles, Trafford Centre and Altrincham lines, with further service changes in place across the network. A replacement bus service will operate between the affected stops.

On Sunday 9 August, from the start of service until 2pm, tram improvement works will take place at Deansgate-Castlefield and Trafford Bar. During this time, no trams will operate on the Eccles, Trafford Centre and Altrincham lines, with further service changes in place across the network. A replacement bus service will operate between the affected stops.
From Saturday 15 to Sunday 16 August, works will take place at Manchester Town Hall. To allow these works to happen safely, no trams will operate via Exchange Square. Services on the East Didsbury and Trafford Centre lines will operate via Market Street and Shudehill instead.
From Saturday 15 until Friday 28 August, track renewal works will take place on the Rochdale line. During this time, service changes will be in place. A bus replacement service will operate between the affected stops.
On Saturday 5 September, from the start of service until 2pm, improvement works will take place on the Rochdale line. During this time, no trams will operate between Freehold and Rochdale Town Centre. A bus replacement service will operate between the affected stops.
On Sunday 6 September, from the start of service until 11am, tram improvement works will take place at Deansgate-Castlefield and Trafford Bar. During this time, no trams will operate on the Eccles, Trafford Centre and Altrincham lines, with further service changes in place across the network. A replacement bus service will operate between the affected stops.
On Sunday 13 September, from the start of service until 10am, no trams will operate through Victoria. During this time, the Rochdale and Bury lines will terminate at Victoria, the East Didsbury line will terminate at Exchange Square, the Manchester Airport will operate to Piccadilly and the Trafford Centre line will run to Deansgate-Castlefield. A bus replacement service will operate between Piccadilly and Victoria until 11am.
On Sunday 20 September, from the start of service until 10am, no trams will operate through Victoria. During this time, the Rochdale and Bury lines will terminate at Victoria, the East Didsbury line will terminate at Exchange Square, the Manchester Airport will operate to Piccadilly and the Trafford Centre line will run to Deansgate-Castlefield. A bus replacement service will operate between Piccadilly and Victoria until 11am.

A bus replacement service will operate between Piccadilly and Victoria until 11am.
Essential improvement works will be taking place at Prestwich Metrolink stop. Tram services will not be affected however, there may be an increased presence of staff at this stop during this time.
