On Sunday 7 June, no trams will operate between Victoria and Rochdale Town Centre. During this time, the East Didsbury line will operate from Piccadilly, Trafford Centre line will operate from Etihad Campus and Manchester Airport will operate from Victoria via Exchange Square.
On Sunday 12 July, improvement works will take place on the Rochdale line. During this time, no trams will operate between Victoria and Rochdale Town Centre. A bus replacement service will operate between the affected stops.

To facilitate the safe construction of new properties, work will take place on Abbotsford Road. As a result, bus services will be on diversion.
From Monday 1 to Tuesday 9 June, improvement works will take place in the city centre. During this time, no trams will operate via Shudehill or Market Street. Customers may need to change trams, take a short walk or use the free bus to continue their journeys.
From Monday 13 July to Sunday 2 August, tram improvement works will take place at various locations on the network including between Deansgate-Castlefield and Trafford Bar, in the city centre and on the Eccles line. During this time, no trams will operate on the Eccles, Trafford Centre and Altrincham lines, with further service changes in place across the network. A replacement bus service will operate between the affected stops.
On Sunday 9 August, from the start of service until 2pm, tram improvement works will take place at Deansgate-Castlefield and Trafford Bar. During this time, no trams will operate on the Eccles, Trafford Centre and Altrincham lines, with further service changes in place across the network. A replacement bus service will operate between the affected stops.
Essential improvement works will be taking place at Prestwich Metrolink stop. Tram services will not be affected however, there may be an increased presence of staff at this stop during this time.
From 1 June, the route will change in Derker due to construction work. Buses will run via the normal route between Oldham and Derker Street then via Prince Charlie Street, Vulcan Street and Thackeray Street, then via the normal route to Wordsworth Road. Journeys towards Oldham will also follow the same diversion. Buses will not serve London Road, Westminster Street, Stoneleigh Street and Abbotsford Road.
