Starting August 16, 2026, Rt. 46 will be streamlined to provide a more direct connection between Winton Terrace and downtown. The revised route will serve the Kenard Kroger before continuing via Mitchell Avenue, Vine Street, Forest Avenue, Burnet Avenue, and Race Street, with a layover at the Freedom Center.
