Starting Monday, Jan 16, the south end of the platform will be closed, and you will only be able to board and exit the train from the accessibility coach or the north end of the platform. South walkway to train platform closed during construction Started Jan 16 Until Jan 29 Starting Wednesday, January 18, we will be repairing the retaining wall in the southeast corner of the parking lot. The south pedestrian walkway to the train platform will be closed during this construction. Please access the train platform using the walkway by the station building. A small number of parking spots in the southeast area of the parking lot will be unavailable. Please be cautious around work areas and follow directional signs. As of Jan 19: For some of the six-coach trains, we have adjusted where the trains will stop at Maple GO Started Jan 19 Until Jan 29 As of Monday, January 16, the south end of the platform at Maple GO is closed due to construction. When boarding at Maple GO Station, you may wish to wait just north of the accessibility platform (or on the accessibility platform if you require it) to ensure you can board the train.When boarding the train at Union Station on your way to Maple GO, you may wish to wait just west of the accessibility platform (or on the accessibility platform if you require it) and listen carefully to announcements on your train to confirm which coaches will open at Maple GO.Update as of Jan 19: For some of the six-coach trains, we have adjusted where the trains will stop at Maple GO, to allow all doors on the train to open. This new process is in effect on the following trains:- Southbound departing Maple GO at 6:58 a.m. arriving at Union Station at 7:33 a.m.- Northbound, departing Union Station at 5:23 p.m. arriving at Maple GO at 5:58 p.m.- Northbound, departing Union Station at 5:53 p.m. arriving at Maple GO at 6:28 p.m. For the above trips if a customer requires the use of the accessibility ramp these trains will stop twice at Maple GO. If you do not require the use of the accessibility ramp, please board or exit the train during the first stop, when all coach doors will open. If you require the accessibility ramp at Maple GO, please wait for the train to stop a second time. For all other trains, only doors on the accessibility coach (5A) and north will open. The Bay West Teamway now offers access between Scotiabank Arena and Front Street Started Jan 26 Until Jan 29 We’ve opened a previously closed portion of the Bay West Teamway (indoor walkway on the west side of Bay Street), and you can now use it to get from the south side (Scotiabank Arena area) to Front Street. There is no direct access to train platforms from the Bay West Teamway. You can access platforms 3 to 13 from the Bay and York Concourses. Access to the Bay Concourse is available from the south end of the Bay West Teamway. Follow directional signs in the area and listen to instructions from staff. The Bay West Teamway remains partially closed due to construction for the new pedestrian bridge over Bay Street and is expected to reopen in spring 2023.More...
