Aurora GO customers: Starting late on Friday, Oct. 2 until the end of service on Sunday, Oct. 4, a power shut down is scheduled at Aurora GO. This is to continue the installation of a new back up generator and complete electrical upgrades for the station. Here’s what you need to know:-The parking garage and northeast parking lot, next to the parking garage, will be closed during the shutdown.-Vehicles must be removed from the parking garage and the northeast parking lot before 23:00 on Oct. 2.-Vehicles left in these areas when work begins, will be relocated to another area of the parking lot. -No additional parking will be available at 9 Scanlon Court. -No waiting area or public washrooms will be available. -Ticket vending and PRESTO loading machines will be unavailable. Repairs have begun and are expected to continue until late fall 2026, to the walkway from the bus loop to Green Lane East, by the railway crossing. You can access the bus loop from the main entrance or the rail platform. This schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Please allow yourself extra time to access the loop. Updates will be provided when available.
Starting Tuesday, Sept. 22 until Friday, Oct. 2, Barrie line service will be adjusted due to planned construction. Train arrival and departure times will be slightly adjusted, arriving or departing up to two minutes earlier than regularly scheduled.Connecting to another line on Sept. 26 and 27? There will be no GO train service on the Barrie line. GO buses will run between Allandale Waterfront and Rutherford GO, then direct to Hwy 407 Bus Terminal.
