Construction work is underway at Oakville GO to enhance safety, accessibility and support more GO Transit service. Improvements and enhancements include platform work, a new pedestrian bridge, bus loop and parking lot improvements, and upgrades to the station building. Here’s what you need to know: - 100 parking spots in the south parking lot, and 100 parking spots in the northwest parking lot, are inaccessible to customers for equipment storage, as we prepare for construction work. Parking is still available in all lots and the parking garage. - Widening and extension construction has begun on the new, temporary platform and is expected to be completed in July 2026. All platforms remain open, with caution advised on Platform 2. - Please follow directional signage and use caution around construction areas. The entrance from the Bay Concourse to the Scotiabank Galleria will be closed Monday to Friday from 22:00 to 6:00 due to construction.Please exit via the north pedestrian bridge or the outdoor route through the Bay South Teamway.

Lakeshore West: Tonight, there are some late-night service adjustments. This weekend, there will be no GO train service between Aldershot and Mimico GO. GO buses will run between West Harbour, Aldershot, Burlington, Oakville and Clarkson to Bramalea GO, where you can connect to eastbound Kitchener line trains to Union Station. Barrie line: There will be no GO train service between Allandale Waterfront GO and Union Station. GO buses will run between Allandale Waterfront and Rutherford GO then direct to Highway 407 Bus Terminal where you can connect to TTC service. There is ongoing track work taking place between Confederation GO and Niagara Falls GO (VIA Station). All trains travelling through the area are expected to arrive at their destination approximately 15 minutes behind schedule until the work is complete. The western entrances on Royal Windsor Drive will be closed on Saturday May 30th, 2026 until 16:00 due to a construction project and road work. Access to the station will be available from the entrance on Royal Windsor Drive closest to Southdown Road and from the Southdown Road entrance.
