Bus Route Modified – Barrie Santa Claus Parade Started Mon Nov 10 Until Fri Nov 14
The City of Barrie will be hosting its annual Santa Claus Parade on Saturday, November 15th, 2025, between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.During this time, GO buses will not be servicing the Barrie Bus Terminal. All trips will be starting and ending at the Allandale Waterfront GO station.

The Town of Bradford will be hosting its annual Santa Claus Parade on Saturday, November 15th, 2025. Road closures will be in effect from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.During this time, GO buses will detour and miss stops on Barrie Street at Britannia Avenue, Barrie Street at John Street, and Holland Street at Colborne Street.Please board the bus in front of the Bradford GO station on Bridge Street.

Temporary bus stops located on Essa Road Started Wed Oct 1 Until Fri Nov 14
Due to continuing construction at Allandale Waterfront GO, the temporary GO bus stops will remain on Essa Road near Gowan Street. Here’s what you need to know: • For customers travelling southbound to Union Station, the temporary bus stop is on the west side of Gowan Street. • For customers travelling northbound to Barrie Transit Terminal, the temporary stop is located at the corner of Gowan Street and Essa Road. • The pedestrian walkway via the Barrie Allandale Transit Terminal (Allandale Waterfront GO) is available for customers accessing the temporary street stops from the station side. • Access to the station and the passenger pick-up and drop off area from the intersection of Lakeshore Drive and Tiffin Street remains closed. Buses will not stop along Toll Road/Yonge Street between Mount Albert Road and Doane Road due to long term construction. To better serve the community, temporary stops have been relocated to:-Holland Landing Road @ Oriole Drive-Holland Landing Road @ Bradford StreetThis project is estimated to be completed spring of 2026.
