Due to a blockage, the Waterside Loop is temporarily blocked. Customers are advised to board at either Civic Plaza Station or the Downtown Norfolk Transit Center.
On Labor Day, Hampton Roads Transit bus, light rail, Naval Station Norfolk Base Express, OnDemand ridesharing services, and paratransit will operate on a Saturday schedule. Labor Day will also be the final day for the summer ferry and full VB Wave schedule. After Labor Day, the ferry will change to its Winter schedule, and the VB Wave will switch to post-summer service operating through September 27, 2026. Transit center customer service booths and public access to all administrative facilities (ID card, Lost and Found, etc.) will be closed. The Customer Service Call Center will be available from 9 AM - 4 PM.
