On Sunday, November 1, 2026, due to scheduled maintenance, customers will not be able to use Real-Time Bus Information online or in the GoMobile app from 9:00 AM until approximately 11:00 AM. When customers enter stop numbers into our system to get their next available time, scheduled times will appear, however the system will not be able to calculate possible delays or cancellations. Customers will also not be able to see the location of their vehicle.
Riding Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) buses, light rail, ferry, Paratransit and OnDemand rideshare will be free on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, to help voters get to the polls.
To find out more about your polling location or other election information, please visit Virginia’s Department of Elections. Then plan your trip on HRT’s System Map.
Election Day is one of four free fare days offered by HRT. Transit Equity Day (Feb. 8, 2027), Earth Day (April 22) and Juneteenth (June 19) are other opportunities for Hampton Roads residents to try transit at no cost.
