Hampton Roads Transit will operate on its regular schedule September 23-25, but due to expected inclement weather and localized flooding, customers are advised to expect delays and impromptu detours. Updated information will be made available online at gohrt.com.
The Tide light rail is currently experiencing a service interruption between EVMC/Fort Norfolk Station and Norfolk State Station due to tidal flooding. A bus shuttle will provide service between the impacted stations. Pickup locations for impacted stations are as follows:
Eastbound Shuttle (EVMC/Ft Norfolk to NSU)
• EVMC/Ft Norfolk Station- (bus shelters adjacent to platform)
• York Street/Freemason Station- Stop 5888 Brambleton & Yarmouth
• Monticello Station- (corner of Monticello & Charlotte St across from Chrysler Hall)
• MacArthur Station- Stop 6052 City Hall & Bank
• Civic Plaza Station- Stop 0006 St Paul’s & Plume
• Harbor Park Station- (sidewalk cut-out across the street)
• NSU Station- Stop 0615 Park & Presidential (adjacent to Wilson Hall at NSU)
Westbound Shuttle (NSU to EVMC/Ft Norfolk)
• NSU Station- Stop 0615 Park & Presidential (adjacent to Wilson Hall at NSU)
• Harbor Park Station- (sidewalk cut-out across the street)
• Civic Plaza Station- Stop 0006 St Paul’s & Plume
• MacArthur Station- Stop 6094 Bank & Plume (adjacent to Fountain Park Garage)
• Monticello Station- Stop 0010 Monticello and Brambleton (behind the Scope Arena)
• York Street/Freemason Station- Stop 5889 Brambleton & Yarmouth
• EVMC/Ft Norfolk Station- (bus shelters adjacent to platform)
