Chicago Union Station - The Great Hall Entrance Closures Tuesday, Oct 28 from 3p-10p
On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, Chicago Union Station will have limited access from 3pm through 10pm due to an event taking place in the Great Hall. Access to the Great Hall entrances will be closed. Signage will be posted directing foot traffic to use the cab court entrances to the station. Customers should allow themselves additional time when arriving to Chicago Union Station to board trains.Metra Bike Policy Changes
Metra amends the bike policy to address safety concerns with large, heavy e-bikes and e-scooters. Customers are now required to be able to carry their bikes and scooters on and off the train themselves without assistance. For more information visit metra.com.
