On Saturday, November 8, Chicago Union Station will have limited entrance access from 3p-12a due to an event taking place in the Great Hall. Signage will be posted to direct foot traffic. Customers should allow additional time arriving to the station.
Beginning Saturday, October 25 through mid-December, the platform at Grayslake/Lake Street station will be replaced. Approximately 400 feet of the platform from the paid parking to the east end of platform 1 will be out of service. In addition, the staircase at the east end of the platform will also be out of service. Passengers must use the west half of platform 1 to board trains. Please use caution near the work area during this time.
Track construction will be taking place on Saturday, November 8 through Sunday, November 9. Trains may incur delays enroute up to 30 minutes behind scheduled passing through the work zone. Please listen to announcements for any platform changes.
Beginning Wednesday, October 22, the northwest staircase at Forest Glen station will be out of service for rehabilitation for 6-8 weeks. Please use the southwest staircase at North Elston Ave, to access Platform 2.
MDN train #2602, scheduled to arrive in Chicago Union Station at 10:12 AM, is stopped near Healy due to switch problems. The duration of this delay is unknown. Metra will provide updates as information becomes available. Updated 8:48 am
