Metra will offer extra service on the Metra Electric, Milwaukee District North, Union Pacific Northwest, and Union Pacific West lines for runners and spectators going to the Bank of America Chicago Marathon on Sunday, October 11. All other lines with Sunday service will operate their regular Sunday schedules. Visit Metra.com/schedules for schedule information.
The north/south parking lots at the 115th St/Morgan Park station are open to the public and ADA accessibility has been restored. Station construction is expected to continue through Spring 2027. Metra will provide updates once construction is complete.
On Wednesday, October 7, The Rock Island District will add an additional train before and after the White Sox playoff game to accommodate passengers. Some trains may be delayed due to heavier passenger loading. Visit metra.com for schedule information.
