The MTA will honor all U.S. military veterans, active-duty military personnel, and members of the National Guard and Reserves with Free transit rides on Tuesday, November 11. Regular schedules will be in effect, and FREE rides will be available on Local Bus, Metro Subway, Light Rail, MARC Train, Commuter Bus, and Mobility services. Eligible riders will need to present one of three IDs: U.S. Department of Defense-issued ID (Armed Forces/Uniformed Services/Military Retiree), U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs-issued ID, or MVA Veteran designation on a driver's license or state ID. MTA salutes you and thanks you for your sacrifice, courage, and commitment to freedom.

In observance of Veterans Day, Commuter Bus service will not operate on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, except for Route 201, which will operate on the Weekend/Holiday " S" schedule.
