Beginning Monday Beginning Monday, July 6, through Sunday, September 6, Metro train service will be suspended between North Bethesda and Friendship Heights. WMATA will provide both Express and Local Shuttle Bus service to connect customers between the affected stations.
If your commute includes transferring between MTA Commuter Bus service and the WMATA Red Line, please allow additional travel time, as delays may occur due to increased traffic and higher passenger volumes.
MTA Commuter Bus will continue to operate its regular schedule; however, customers should anticipate possible delays in the affected corridor due to increased roadway congestion.

Passengers are encouraged to periodically check the MTA website (Service Advisory) for the most up-to-date information.
Commuter Bus - In observance of Labor Day, Commuter Bus service will operate the "S" Schedule on all routes on Friday, September 4, 2026, except for Route 411T, which will operate regular service.
The following trips will also operate regular service on Friday, September 4:
*Route 230-Trip 5
*Route 505-Trip 6
On Monday, September 7, 2026, Commuter Bus will not operate except for Routes 201 and 411T. The 201 will operate the Weekend/Holiday "S" schedule and the 411T will operate regular service.
