Due to Road Work(El Cajon Pipeline Project), Route 864 Eastbound and Westbound will be on a detour and have multiple bus stop closures starting Monday, May 04, 2026 through Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 8am to 3:30pm. The direction and affected bus stops are listed below.

A seasonal school detour will be in effect at Iris Transit Center from July 24 through December 18, 2026, between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
Affected routes: 901, 929, 932, 933, and 227.

Due to construction at East County Square Walmart, stop 41158 will be temporarily closed 24 hours a day 7 days a week beginning June 1, 2026 through October 1, 2026. An A-Frame has been placed in front of the Dollar Tree at East County Square where passengers can board Route 838.
The Route 41 and 105 bus stop on Genesee Ave at Centurian Sq. (ID#13133) will be closed due to road hazard repair 24 hours a day from Sunday 8/9 to Monday 8/10. Please use the temporary stop marked by an A- Frame about 150 feet south of the bus stop.
Due to Construction at East County Square Walmart, stop #41158 will be temporarily closed 24 Hrs. a day 7 days a week beginning June 1, 2026 through October 1, 2026. A-Frame has been placed in front of the dollar tree at East County Square where passengers can Board and De Board Route 864.
Due to construction, the 834 Westbound will have a stop closure at Mission Gorge Road and Mesa Road from 07/20/26 to 08/20/26, 24 hours a day. Passengers are advised to make connections at Mission Gorge Road and Fanita Road.
Beginning Sunday, August 2, sewer construction work will take place on Hollister Street and is expected to continue through Friday, August 14.
Route 932 buses may experience minor delays while traveling through the work zone. Bus service will continue to operate.
