Due to a fallen tree branch on platform 2, out bound trains will run non – stop through Westgarth Station until further notice. Passenger travelling outbound to/from Westgarth are advised to change at Clifton Hill and speak with station staff for alternative transport options. Check information displays and listen for announcements as services may be altered at short notice.
Select services may run direct from Flinders Street to Jolimont, not via the City Loop, due to an equipment fault in the Southern Cross area. Passengers at Southern Cross, Flagstaff, Melbourne Central and Parliament please interchange at Flinders Street for a Mernda/Hurstbridge service. Check information displays and listen for announcements.

Buses replace trains between Heidelberg and Eltham from 8.30pm Tuesday 30 September, to last train Thursday 30 October, while project works take place. Allow extra travel time. From April 2024 to 2028 The Watsonia Station car park has been closed since April 2024. From October 2025, there will be changes for pedestrians, cars, and buses accessing Watsonia Station as part of ongoing works for M80 Ring Road Completion. new DDA-compliant paths and upgraded crossings to improve safety and accessibility for pedestrians. one-way entrance from Greensborough Highway northbound and a new signalised intersection for exiting vehicles. relocated bus stop and streamlined loop to support service reliability and reduce congestion. These changes will be in place until a new Watsonia Station car park is built later in the project. We’re planning our work in the station precinct to minimise disruptions. no changes to the pedestrian overpass or station platform access. maintaining accessible parking and drop-off and pick-up areas near the station entrance. providing more than 500 parking spaces at the nearby Watsonia Station commuter car park.
