9pm to 4am each night, Monday 5 October to Thursday 8 October To improve the safety and efficiency of Melbourne’s metropolitan rail network, critical safety works will be undertaken along the Belgrave, Lilydale, Alamein and Glen Waverley lines. These critical safety works form part of Metro’s annual works program to maintain and renew the rail network. What to expect: medium to high level construction noise during the set up and use of the heavy machinery rail grinding works that will cause a short-term immediate increase in noise once completed, that will decrease over time increased noise, dust and local traffic in the works area or the rail corridor traffic management in place, as required. Every effort will be made to carry out these works with respect for our valued neighbours. Works may be subject to change due to weather conditions and operational requirements.
8.30pm to last service each night, Monday 5 October to Wednesday 7 October
First service Tuesday 4 August Trains are back at Boronia Station from Tuesday, 4 August Station entrance is via Erica Avenue. Passengers can access the platforms by using the lift or stairs. A new waiting room and myki facilities are also available at the station. Works will continue in the coming months. The Boronia Station upgrade will be complete in Spring 2026.
