Effective Monday, September 14, 2026, for approximately 10 days, access to the W.65th-Lorain station platform by the station’s west entrance (Madison Ave.) stairway will be closed due to construction work.
Access to the station’s platform will be available via the station’s Lorain Avenue entrance.
#66R buses will replace Red Line service between East 55th Street and Stokes-Windermere stations Saturday, September 19 through Sunday, September 20, 2026, due to planned GCRTA engineering projects in that area.
#66R buses will operate on a 15-minute frequency during this time.
During this time, Red Line passengers at East 55th should expect to board westbound trains (headed towards Tower City and the Airport) on the side of the platform normally served by eastbound trains.
Red Line rail service between the East 55th Street and Airport stations will operate according to the regular weekend schedules.
The regular Red Line schedule will resume with the start of service on Monday, September 21, 2026.
