From 6 October 2025, due to the Powerhouse Museum upgrade, this stop will be closed until the upgrade is complete.
Route 501 bus services will not stop at this location during the closure period. Please check signage and use alternative nearby stops.

- From 5.30pm until 7pm on Saturday 14 March, route 500x and 506 services will start and end trips at Central Station due to road closures in place for a planned Police Operation protest march.
- Buses to the city will end trips at Central Station, Railway Square, Stand J (200017).
- Buses leaving the city will start trips from Central Station, Railway Square, Stand M (200064).
- Stops between Town Hall and The Domain Sydney will be missed. Continue on foot and allow extra time.

Saturday 28 March
- From 7am to 11.30pm, Route 501 services will divert and miss stops while road closures are in place for the City of Sydney’s Sydney Streets event along Harris Street in Pyrmont.
- Services towards Central will divert around Miller Street and Harris Street via Allen Street. Services towards Parramatta will divert around Harris Street and Miller Street via Pyrmont Bridge Road.
- Stops on Harris Street and Miller Street between Allen Street and Bank Street will be missed. Use alternative stops further along Harris Street.
- Allow extra travel time and check signs at bus stops for alternative stop locations.
