Sydney CBD & Vaucluse diversions for New Year’s Eve Starts Wed Dec 31 12:00PM Until Thu Jan 1 4:00AM

On Wednesday 31 December New Year’s Eve, buses will be diverting and using different stops due to road closures in the city and in the eastern suburbs.

From 12pm until 5pm buses that usually run to and from Millers Point/Walsh Bay will start and end their trips at Town Hall due to road closures on Hickson Rd. Buses will not run between Town Hall and Millers Point / Walsh Bay. Services leaving the city will start trips from York St QVB Stand A (Stop ID: 2000421). Services arriving to the city will end trips at Park St Town Hall Stand J (Stop ID: 2000425).

From 5pm to 4am buses will start and end trips at Hyde Park at St Marys Rd and College St. See the Hyde Park Interchange map.

From 11pm to 4am: route 311 buses will end trips at Museum Station Down Centre, Elizabeth St Stand A (Stop ID 200074). Buses leaving the city will pick up from Oxford St opposite Brisbane St.

In Vaucluse, from 3pm until 2am Vaucluse Rd will be one-way northbound only between New South Head Rd and Wentworth Rd. Route 325 buses to Vaucluse will detour via Fitzwilliam Rd, Wentworth Rd, Hopetoun Ave and New South Head Rd. Some stops will be missed. Buses leaving Vaucluse will run as normal.

Sydney CBD diversions due to Festival Starts Sat Jan 10 1:00AM Until Sun Jan 11 2:00AM

Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 January

Route 324 and 325 services will divert away from Hickson Road and miss stops due to road closures in place for Sydney Festival.

From 1am Saturday 10 to 2am Sunday 11 January, buses travelling towards Watsons Bay will start trips at Argyle St at Watson Rd (200098) and divert via Dalgety Road, and Towns Place to return to route on Hickson Road.

From 6am Saturday 10 to 2am Sunday 11 January, buses travelling towards Walsh Point will divert via Towns Place, Dalgety Road, Argle Street and Argyle Place to end trips at Argyle St at Kent St (200099).

Check signs at stops for alternative stop locations or continue your journey on foot.
