Starting Saturday, June 8 at 10 a.m. through Sunday, June 9 at 6 p.m., 1 Street S.W. between 6 Avenue & 7 Avenue S.W. will be fully closed for the Firefighter Stair Climb Challenge. Route MAX Purple will be detoured.

MAX Purple will travel:

• West on 6 Avenue S.W.


• South on 5 Street S.W.


• East on 9 Avenue S.W., return to regular routing

The following stops will be temporarily closed:

Please use the following stops in lieu of the closed stops:

Starting Saturday, June 8 at 5 a.m. through Tuesday, June 11 at 5 a.m., there will be multi-lane closures on 12 Street S.E. between 8 Avenue & 10 Avenue S.E. and turn restrictions for Water Services construction. Routes 1, 101, and MAX Purple will be detoured.

Routes 1, 101, and MAX Purple will travel:

• East on on 9 Avenue S.E.


• North on on 11 Street S.E.


• East on on 8 Avenue S.E.


• South on on 13 Street S.E.


• East on on 9 Avenue S.E., resume regular routing

The following stops will be temporarily closed:

• EB 9 AV SE @ 12 St SE (#9805) - Routes 1, 101 & MAX Purple
