Starting Sunday, February 1, 2026, the Routes 107, 111, 112, and 414 will not service the following bus stops due to construction:

5824 JEFFERSON & JEFFERSON COMMONS

Until further notice, passengers will need to board / disembark at a temporary stop at Jefferson & Bland located next to Rooms To Go.
Juneteenth Holiday and Sail 250 Started Mon Jun 1 Until Tue Jun 23
On Friday, June 19, 2026, Hampton Roads Transit will commemorate the federal holiday, Juneteenth, by offering free fares on all modes of transit (buses, light rail, ferry, paratransit and OnDemand ridesharing).

Hampton Roads Transit bus, light rail, Naval Station Norfolk Base Express, ridesharing services, and paratransit will operate on their Saturday schedules. The Elizabeth River Ferry will continue operating on its regular weekday schedule. Transit center information booths and public access to all administrative facilities (ID badge, Lost & Found, etc.) will be closed. HRT’s Customer Service Call Center will be available from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Additionally, on Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21, in partnership with the City of Norfolk, free travel will be available on The Tide light rail and the Elizabeth River Ferry for Sail250 Virginia, the 50th anniversary of Harborfest, and the High Street Festival in Portsmouth.

On Monday, June 22, in partnership with the City of Norfolk, free travel will be available on the Elizabeth River Ferry only.
