Construction on High Street in Sutton from September 5 to December 2026 will affect Route 50 – Queensway service. Northbound trips will be rerouted via Black River Road, Queen Street, St. James Street, Fairpark Lane, Hawkins Street and Smockum Boulevard before ending at a temporary stop on Highway 48, while southbound trips will begin at the temporary Highway 48 stop and follow a detour through River Street, St. James Street, Queen Street and Black River Road. Railway crossing repairs on Davis Drive between Main Street and Prospect Street will affect Routes 50 – Queensway, 55 – Davis Drive, 425 – Huron Heights Secondary School and Viva yellow from 9 p.m. on Friday, November 13 until 6 a.m. on Wednesday, November 18. Routes 50, 55 and Viva yellow will detour via Lorne Avenue, Eagle Street, Water Street and Prospect Street, while Route 425 school trips will follow alternate routings using Main Street, Water Street and Prospect Street. Multiple stops on Davis Drive will be temporarily out of service in both directions, with alternate and temporary stops available throughout the detour area.
