Honda Indy-related road closures in Markham will affect Viva purple A service from 9 p.m. on August 12 until August 19, although regular routing may resume earlier depending on weather and event teardown activities. Buses in both directions will be rerouted via Birchmount Road and Highway 7, bypassing stops at Andre De Grasse and University. Alternate stops will be available along the detour route. Viva purple A will not operate on Saturday, August 15, or Sunday, August 16, and customers may use Viva purple service on Highway 7 or Route 8 – Kennedy as alternatives.
