Construction on Promenade Circle from East Promenade to North Promenade beginning July 28 will affect northbound Route 88 – Bathurst until further notice. Northbound buses will remain on Bathurst Street, travel via Centre Street and return to regular routing at Promenade Terminal, missing Stop 4422. Construction on West Promenade between Promenade Circle and New Westminster Drive will affect westbound Route 3 – Thornhill from August 24 to October 2. Westbound buses will detour via Promenade Circle, North Promenade and Centre Street before resuming regular service on New Westminster Drive. Customers can use the temporary stop located on the northwest corner of New Westminster Drive and West Promenade during the construction period. Paving work on Islington Avenue between Nashville Road and Highway 27 will affect Route 13 – Islington service from August 31 to September 30 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Buses in both directions will be detoured via Nashville Road, Highway 27 and Major Mackenzie Drive before returning to regular routing. Several stops along Islington Avenue will not be serviced, and temporary stops on Nashville Road will be available for customers during the construction period. Markham Village storm sewer upgrade construction on Parkway Avenue will affect Route 301 – Markham Express beginning September 1 until construction is complete. Morning buses will detour via Paramount Road, Ramona Boulevard and Main Street Markham North before rejoining the route on Bullock Drive, while afternoon trips will follow the reverse routing. Select stops will be out of service in both directions, with alternate and temporary stops available along the detour route. Viva blue/blue B buses will detour via Steeles Avenue and Willowdale Avenue before entering Finch GO Bus Terminal from Bishop Avenue, while all other affected routes will use Cummer Avenue, Willowdale Avenue and Bishop Avenue. Construction on High Street in Sutton from September 5 to December 2026 will affect Route 50 – Queensway service. Northbound trips will be rerouted via Black River Road, Queen Street, St. James Street, Fairpark Lane, Hawkins Street and Smockum Boulevard before ending at a temporary stop on Highway 48, while southbound trips will begin at the temporary Highway 48 stop and follow a detour through River Street, St. James Street, Queen Street and Black River Road. Road closures for Aurora's Saturday Night Fever event will affect transit service from 9 a.m. on September 12 until 1:30 a.m. on September 13. Route 54 – Bayview, Routes 96 – Keele-Yonge, 98 – Yonge and 98/99 – Yonge will detour around the closure and miss select stops, with temporary and alternate stops available nearby. Viva blue will also detour through the area using Kennedy Street, Bathurst Street and Wellington Street; however, no Viva blue stops will be missed.
