The Virginia Beach Oceanfront will host the MOCA Boardwalk Art Show October 9-11, 2026. The Route 30 will operate over the weekend but only during festival hours as follows:
• Friday, October 9, 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Saturday, October 10, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Sunday, October 11, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

On Saturday, October 10, 2026, the Norfolk State University Homecoming Parade will cause closures along Park Avenue, Virginia Beach Boulevard, and Corprew Avenue from 7:30am until 11:00am. The Routes 9 and 20 will detour during this time frame. Customers should expect heavy traffic delays in this area during the event.
