While Knox County schools are in session, Route 40, South Knoxville, will be on a long-term detour, for the 2:15 trip, INBOUND ONLY, Monday through Friday.
Inbound from Moody Avenue, continue straight into Sevierville Pike, left on Compton Street, left on Haywood Avenue, left on Cottrell Street, left on Wynn, right on Moody Avenue to the regular route.
Due to the tree cutters on Island Home Blvd, Route 40, South Knoxville, will be on a short-term detour for the majority of the day. The Road Supervisors will monitor and update as needed.
Outbound from Island Home Avenue, right on Maplewood. Continue on Maplewood, right on Fisher Place to the regular route. Will reverse coming back inbound.
