Littleton/Route 495 passengers can expect occasional traffic and detours accessing the station due to the Foster Street reconstruction work. Started Wed Feb 5 2025
Scheduled to complete sometime in 2027, the Reconstruction of Foster Street includes widening and resurfacing with the addition of bicycle lanes.
On the weekends of August 16th-17th & 23rd-24th, Red and Green Line subway service will replace regular Commuter Rail service between North Station and Porter. Started Sat Aug 16 Until Mon Aug 25
Passengers can utilize the Green Line from North Station to Park Street and then switch to the Red Line from Park Street to Porter. Passengers will then connect with a Commuter Rail train.

This allows for work on the North Station Terminal Area Signal System Improvement Project.
