The pedestrian bridge at the Braintree Parking Garage is permanently closed due to garage renovations. MBTA.com/southshore Started Feb 1 4:30AM
For access to Braintree Station, travel down to the first floor and use the pedestrian crosswalk to enter the station at the street level.
This construction is part of the South Shore Parking Garages Improvements and Renovations Project. The pedestrian bridge will be replaced by a new garage lobby featuring elevators and stairwells.
North Quincy-Braintree shuttle
Spring/Summer Commuter Rail schedules go into effect on Monday, May 20th and are now available at South, North and Back Bay stations or on the MBTA website at mbta.com/cr. Started May 2 2:09PM Until May 21 2:30AM
A recycle bin is available at South, North and Back Bay stations to give up your old schedules.
Weekends, 5/11-5/19, Greenbush, Middleboro & Kingston line trains will originate/terminate at Braintree Stn due to Quincy Adams garage improvements. Riders will connect to Red Line shuttle buses & then subway at Quincy Center for service to S. Station. Starts May 17 4:30AM Until May 18 2:30AM
Please allow additional time while travelling outbound to meet trains at Braintree.
Greenbush Line trains will arrive/depart at Braintree at the time they are normally scheduled to depart from Quincy Center.
Middleborough Line trains that normally bypass Braintree will depart from Braintree approximately 5 minutes after they regularly are scheduled to depart Quincy Center.
On Sunday 5/12 and weekend 5/18-5/19, shuttles will connect with the Red Line at Quincy Center instead of North Quincy for service to South Station.
