Road closures for the RBC Race for the Kids on September 19 will affect southbound service on Routes 2 – Milliken, 5 – Clark, 77 – Highway 7, 88 – Bathurst, 91 – Bayview, 99 – Yonge, 360 – Vaughan Mills/Wonderland and Viva blue/blue B. Viva blue/blue B buses will detour via Steeles Avenue and Willowdale Avenue before entering Finch GO Bus Terminal from Bishop Avenue, while all other affected routes will use Cummer Avenue, Willowdale Avenue and Bishop Avenue. Temporary stops and Finch GO Bus Terminal will be available for customers during the event. Please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and visit yrt.ca for full details.
Road closures for Aurora's Saturday Night Fever event will affect transit service from 9 a.m. on September 12 until 1:30 a.m. on September 13. Route 54 – Bayview, Routes 96 – Keele-Yonge, 98 – Yonge and 98/99 – Yonge will detour around the closure and miss select stops, with temporary and alternate stops available nearby. Viva blue will also detour through the area using Kennedy Street, Bathurst Street and Wellington Street; however, no Viva blue stops will be missed.
