From Saturday, April 27th through Sunday, May 5th, buses will replace regular train service between Middleborough/Lakeville and Bridgewater to allow for work on the South Coast Rail project. Starts Until May 6 Regular train service will operate between Bridgewater and South Station. The bus diversion schedule is now available online or for pick up at South Station.
On the weekends of May 11-12, May 18-19, June 8-9, and June 15-16, express buses will replace regular train service between Braintree and South Station to allow for work on the Red Line and the Dorchester Ave bridge project. Starts May 11 Until Jun 17 All Greenbush line trains will originate and terminate at Braintree station. A diversion schedule will be in effect on the Middleborough, Kingston and Greenbush Lines. Buses will be free & accessible. Bikes will not be allowed on-board buses.
The new Spring/Summer Schedule will go into effect on May 20 with seasonal time adjustments. The schedule will soon be available on MBTA.com and at Boston stations. Starts May 20 Affected lines:
