TransSee is a web application that provides
real-time bus tracking and next vehicle predictions to a
growing list of transit agencies, including most of North
America's largest systems, New York MTA, LA Metro,
Chicago CTA and TransSee's home system the Toronto TTC.
TransSee is a web application that runs on any browser, so
it supports all smartphones, past (including
BlackBerry and Windows Phones), present and future,
as well as any other device with a web browser from Macs and
PCs to smart TVs. It even works on SwatchWatch browsers.
Its unique set of features include:
- Lean efficient HTML that is quick to load and requires little bandwidth.
- Respects user privacy by not loading data from third party websites, except Google Ads (disabled for premium users), and only logging summary statistics.
- Choose stops from a map or by an ordered stop list.
- See predictions for any set of stops you choose. Additional stops can be added with the "Add stop" link.
- Dynamic route list based on currently operating routes.
- Can send an email or web notification when a vehicle will be arriving in the selected time. For web notification, the prediction is automatically updated. Must be enabled first.
- Can generate its own predictions based on the actual historic travel times, rather than just based on the adjusted scheduled time.
- Can generate a prediction range, so you know when you should be there to not miss the bus as well as the latest time you may still be able to catch it.
- Provides an estimate of the load based on the actual time between vehicles compared to the scheduled time. Real time vehicle load is displayed where available.
- Set a destination stop to show only vehicles that will reach there and sort prediction by which vehicle is expected to arrive there first.
- See predicted arrival times for future days using the schedule data and historic arrival times.
- Provides schedules by stop, route and trip.
- Many settings to customize what information is displayed.
- Vehicle real time locations by route or fleet number, including out of service vehicles.

Tips
- Store commonly used stops or stop groups in your browser bookmarks or add them to your Home screen
- Links for a bookmarkable version of Stops near me by GPS and the Near Stop Map that you can add to your home screen.
- Type the name of a previous viewed stops or routes in your browser url box and the link should come up
- Find lost items or report problem to the transit agency by using route vehicle locations or stop history to find your vehicle number and then see where the bus is now.
